AS THE LEGEND WAS TOLD...
It has nothing to do with the derby or bluegrass or bourbon-making, but all those things run through its veins — it’s Gerstle’s place, a neighborhood bar of indispensable variety.

What an awesome place this is. I love the atmosphere with all the different rooms and the pool tables and the people they have Manning the doors are incredibly wonderful. The servers are awesome. The music was right on. Would definitely come back.

This is one of our favorite bars in Louisville. It's home to the Derby City Norseman and we'll definitely be back for Vikings game day. In addition to the fun game day atmosphere, they have a great menu for food and drinks. They also have great deals and reasonable prices. Definitely check it out!

Each time I go to Gerstle's it's a different, fun crowd to be around. It's a mix of trivia masters, happy hour lovers, weekend dancers, live music listeners, and literally everything else in between.The bartenders are genuine and friendly and the bar owner is very approachable, they all creates a warm and fun environment.Happy Hour is until 7p!
